My name is Louinne Teixeira, I arrived in Canada 3 months ago, and I'm living at UBC.
I am Brazilian and came with a work visa to accompany my husband who is doing a Master in Divinity at the Vancouver School of Theology-UBC.
In Brazil, I did my medical training for 8 years and worked for 11 years as an Emergency Surgeon. Here in Canada, I cannot exercise my profession but I can exercise my vocation to care for people.
